Often I get asked, what does Wandering King even mean and where did it come from originally?

The simple answer is, that its in my name.

My first name means "Wanderer/Wandering"

My middle name, depending on the source, either means "Red" or "King/Little King"

So in a way, it is my way of putting my name on everything I do.

ABOUT ME

I have been doing photography and videography since 2013. My interest in photography began in college as I minored in Digital Media and Production which put me behind a camera professionally for the first time and I discovered that I thoroughly enjoyed photography and filming.

I have been a resident of Middle Tennessee off and on since 1995. I am a native Texan/Michigander (I have a claim to both). Outside of photography and videography, I pursue other creative interests. My first creative loves were drawing and writing, which I continue to this day. I find a lot of peace in writing poems, songs, and stories.

My other interests include my other jobs which are working in a Christian ministry and of course, photography.

I lost my mom in 2022 to stage 4 brain cancer. She always encouraged my photography and would always want to see every single photo I took. No matter the subject, no matter the context, she always looked forward to when I finished photos so she could just take them all in. One of the reasons I grew to love photography was that connecting it gave to my mom, and to this day I still feel connected to her whenever I do it.

Outside of my jobs and my creative pursuits, I enjoy spending my free time doing lots of different things. The best parts of my day are spent with my dog, Judah. He was the last gift my mom ever got for me so he holds a special place in my life for that, and also he's 99% a very good pup. I also enjoy football, music/concerts, movies, traveling, spending time with friends, video games, podcasts, wrestling, and relaxing.
